Sand Blast Compressors

Compresores para Sand Blast

Surface preparation is critical for any painting project. To achieve optimal results, there are several techniques and specialized equipment available.

The impurities that must be removed are often deeply corrosive, including rust, old paint flakes, and other residues. Abrasive forces generated by sandblasting are ideal for this purpose. Known in English as “Sand Blast”, the process essentially uses a high-pressure stream of abrasive media—air or water—to clean and smooth any surface intended for painting.

There are multiple systems designed for deep cleaning according to industrial needs, including wheel blasting, hydroblasting, wet abrasive blasting, and glass bead blasting. The latter is particularly effective in specialized automotive bodywork and paint shops. Leading workshops incorporate sandblasting equipment into their processes. This method is also commonly used for artistic and craft applications on wood, ceramics, glass, and other materials.

At CBS, we provide compressors perfectly suited to power these machines. Our product range covers all sandblast capacities, from the 5 HP Piston Compressor and its various series in different horsepower ratings, to the Screw Compressor in the Premium and Custom 100 HP series. The latter delivers an extraordinary output volume of 384 CFM (10,900 liters per minute).

Additionally, these units are equipped with a cyclonic separation system and Spin-On filters that ensure residue-free compressed air, allowing a maximum oil carryover of just 3 ppm into the supply line.
